A Conversation That Left Me Inspired

You know that feeling when you meet someone and instantly feel lighter—like their energy just fills the room in the best way? That’s exactly what happened to me the other week.

I had the privilege of sitting down with Sheila Dion, the heart and founder behind Erin's Angels, a non-profit organization that’s making a real difference in the fight against childhood hunger. Our conversation left me inspired, hopeful, and incredibly grateful.

If you haven’t heard of Erin’s Angels, let me introduce you. This organization was created in memory of Erin Maxwell, a young girl whose life ended far too soon. Out of deep loss came a mission rooted in compassion: to ensure no child goes hungry. I won’t share the details of Erin’s story here—but I encourage you to learn more when you’re ready.

What struck me most about Sheila is not just her passion, but her purpose. She’s a woman with a vision and a heart that’s fully in it. The work she and her team are doing goes beyond food—it’s about dignity, care, and showing up for kids who need it most. Check out the link to their site below!

It was such an honor to connect, talk about the work she’s doing, and explore how Speaking Emotions LLC might support the mission of Erin’s Angels in meaningful ways. This is the kind of work that reminds me why I do what I do—and why community matters so deeply.

I’ll be sharing more soon, but for now, please take a moment to check out Erin’s Angels and all the good they’re putting into the world....
